SAM Snaps Up Select Timber Products
The family-run business is in the midst of a five-year strategy to increase turnover by 100 per cent.
Select Timber, which is based in Spalding, has been supplying interior mouldings products to the construction industry since 1989.
As part of the deal, all 25 of its employees will remain in their roles. This will bring the headcount at SAM to more than 200 and allow the company to operate out of a distribution centre in the South East of England, which it has identified as a "key driver for the UK economy" and a "hub of activity for the construction sector".
Paul Lavery, commercial director at SAM and managing director at Select Timber, said: "The past two years have been a particularly exciting time for SAM as we have doubled in size.
